Project MAMA is recruiting a Mother Companion Project Coordinator

Full time | £37,138 per annum

The wonderful Sal, our current Mother Companion Project Coordinator, is retiring in December this year and we are looking to fill this amazing role. 

We are looking for a new Coordinator for our Mother Companion Project. They will be responsible for coordinating the antenatal, birth and postnatal support that is offered to Mamas from migrant backgrounds. The role covers a broad spectrum of areas, including direct contact and support for the Mamas, recruitment and induction of Mother Companion volunteers, supervising the caseworker, developing and delivering volunteer training and providing a supportive and encouraging environment for the volunteer team. 

We are seeking an experienced, collaborative leader with expertise in managing and coordinating volunteers as well as offering culturally safe and holistic birth support.
