For refugee and asylum-seeking families, the summer holidays can be especially tough. Schools close and many services pause, leaving people with less support and fewer places to go. While many families are enjoying beach days or visiting loved ones, displaced parents often face weeks stuck in temporary accommodation with their little ones, feeling cut off.
At Project MAMA, we believe no parent should be isolated this summer. That’s why we’re organising joyful day trips for migrated families. These outings are a chance for mamas to get out with their babes and feel part of a supportive community.
